In hospital. With my team on ICU I'm caring for a woman, a case of emergency. An endotracheal tube is already in place, a stomach tube right by its side and the patient is bleeding into the pharynx, so my task is to pass the other tubes with a suction catheter, and I can't seem to get in, no matter how I try.
The patient is coughing then, and while the endotracheal tube is open, a fountain of blood erupts through it, spills all over my face and smock overall, and onto the white bedding, creating a dot pattern. Now the mess is complete, I think, and how inadequate my thoughts. It seems though the patient is improving somewhat, now that she got rid of the blood.
I leave this room and see colleagues smoking in an adjacent room. This is forbidden, but I join them, trying to find a corner where I'm not seen by people walking the corridors. It is hard, because it is all glass walls.
Outside a father (I think a doctor) is walking with his son of three or four years. The little boy is running up to a window of this room, hammering with his little fists. I laugh and make funny faces, while his father scolds him, and closes one of the windows close to the ceiling.
I feel this is the main dream in regard to our incubation of Da-Fu Mu for Mother Earth.
It is drastic again, still the state of the patient isn't as bad as in "Mother Earth Speaking".
I'm not sure now, if I force the dream into the "earth" context too much, so I'll beging with discussing day residue:
First: I'm a nurse, working on intermediate care and ICU, dreaming of work is common, anyway, and especially in my free days I often process situations in hospital.
Then before sleep I finished another chapter (91) of Judy B Gardiner's "Lavender" and it was about imminent volcanic eruptions triggered by humans probing the earth, "inserting tubes." The burning question was, first if, and then how to prevent this disaster by getting the word out.
The day before I shared a video on Judy's wall, and she shared, about new explorative project drilling into the earth mantle for the first time, approximately 10,000 m deep.

On top of it I caught a cold, so I had/ have my own respiratory affection.
We are not allowed to smoke in the hospital, but there are some places outside where we do, nevertheless. And I am smoking. The little boy may represent my own little son, his father the "doctor's voice" inside of me.
Insofar the dream plays at least on three levels: My own health, my nursing work, and - as I'm sure - on a planetary level.
Forcing the dream into a planetary context?
While following Judy's quest decoding her dreams, I asked myself, why Higher Self doesn't speak in clear words, which would make things a lot easier. But no, for Judy geological terms were clad into specific properties of clothing or household articles (among others). She learned faults in skirts translated to tectonic fault lines, plates were tectonic plates and so on. The process of decoding itself, I understand (and she did, too, at some point), added to the emotional impact of her understanding of Mother Earth and Her situation.
So it appears my "code" is written in the language of nursing, of anatomy, pathology, and maybe most important, of empathy and healing.
From following Judy's quest and looking at my dreams I learned we may each have our own system of encryption, and individual ways of decoding, and this may not be by chance. Decoding appears as a necessary process helping us in focusing, supplying intensity in connecting us, in feeling into, in identifying with something so much larger and older than us. At least for me it means I'm growing into a closer, a more emotional relation with Mother Earth. I think others, who live much closer to nature, may not need such encryption systems, like my friend Mary Whitefeather, though while she often directly dreams of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes there is still something cryptic about the message, the places appearing as acronyms, ambiguous, or she has those "crazy numbah dreams" :D
All this said, I decode my dream like this:
My dream version of Mother Earth is still in dire condition, with respiratory problems (the greenhouse effect?). Humans are trying to help, but like sometimes in my nursing practice, the question is whether our way of helping causes harm.
We have the technology at hand to probe deeply into the earth, and we may cause harm, we may trigger volcanic eruptions, which may make their way through the artificial holes/ ducts we are creating.
Mother Earth does what she always did: Given the chance and circumstances, she releases pressure through a volcanic eruption. She helps herself. For us humans this means a complete mess.
This mess may be increased by smoke concentrating in closed rooms (the atmosphere IS a closed room). We know volcanic ashes in the atmosphere can cause global dips of temperature, leading to famine. As if we don't have enough famine in the world. I'm not sure what it means on this level, that the doctor - father closes the window.
Also I'm not sure what we can DO. What do you think?
