Pelicans in the Danube Delta, Romania
Danube - delta on left rim, the river goes with the name Istros, here.

Someone is telling me about his or her home country, names rivers I never heard of in a language I don't know. I see an old map.
My untold questions must have been been heard, as now the person refers to how the smaller rivers flow together forming the "mother of all rivers", and now I understand it is the Danube, and we are some time, I don't know how long, before the Roman era.
I see the huge delta as she flows into Black Sea and feel the abundance, the awesome power of life made possible through her presence.
Connecting with the past like this also empowers me, feels numinous. Thoughts, images are rushing past of kingdoms and empires coming and going, while the river of life keeps flowing.

This one is incubated for the World Dreams Peace Bridge. A friend from Australia asked for our dreams, because "right now some super focused and explicitly expressed intention is needed more than ever." This in the face of the escalating saber rattling of Trump/ US and Kim Jong-un/ North Korea.

The mother of my father was a German - Russian born in Ukraine, so it may be I tuned into my family history. The Danube springs in Germany (Black Forest) and discharges in Ukraine and Romania.

"The Danube basin was the site of some of the earliest human cultures."

Smetana's romantic piece "Die Moldau" expresses the feelings connected to my dream, and is about a river (which discharges into the Elbe, which ends in Germany close to Hamburg)

Smetana inspired Bertold Brecht to write a song then 1944, and it may relate to the imminent fall of the Hitler regime.
The lyrics go like this, and are spot on the meaning I see in the dream, in relation to the incubation:

translating the middle verse:

the times are changing, the giant plans
of the mighty ones finally come to halt
and if they stride like bloody cocks
the times are changing, there is no use of force.
